Please Recommend A Camper

I'm sure this has been covered before but let's do it again for personalization.

What camper do you recommend?

We had a 2003 StarCraft Lonestar slide-in Pop-up. Recently sold it and bought a 29' Komfort Travel Trailer for our retirement travels and greater comfort. We miss our camper convenience and tow ability of our Jeep in a trailer and our boat. Going to sell the big unit and get another camper.

Preferences are: hard sided, as small as possible (lighter weight, wind resistance, etc.) but still have: full 80" lengthwise queen bed, Refrigerator (prefer 5' or 6' but will settle for 4'), good furnace, water heater, double sink, stove and gas oven, cassette toilet or other wet bath, 9.5 long max, no slide.

What are your recommendations?

  • Check the manufacturers' websites as all I have visited I was able to download their brochures and see the specs for the different models. Wolf Creek campers are light and well made and manufactured near La Grande, OR so you would have the option of picking one up at the factory and saving the shipping and dealer charges.
