Is the actual elbow leaking or is the the connection to one of the hoses at the elbow that is leaking? If the braided side of the connection is leaking, cut off the pex crimp strap (never should have been used in the first place) and get a small ring hose clamp (available at lots of places) and install it and tighten it up good. If the pex side is leaking you will need to follow advice already given for that repair because an small ring hose clamp will not compress the pex pipe to stop a leak. Good luck with your repair.
