Polypropylene Holding Tank Bulkhead Fittings
Can I use bulkhead fittings going into the side of my holding tank? I have a 1 1/2 drain I'm adding for my Truck camper and there isn't room to go back up to the top of the tank without making drastic...

Will work on the side. Pretty sure they are vertical only.
For the few times I've used them, the tank grommets work well. They never leaked. Your bulkhead fitting is OK but you'll need to make sure that you can tighten that gasket against the tank. I'd probably try to use some sealer if using that bulkhead fitting.
