12v system went out, checked v @ battery and showed 2.4v went to CW talked to tech. tech said to check the ends of the cable which connects to the battery. did that and showed 0v, the tech said should be 14.2v at least, and if not then the converter could be the probably culprit.
connected battery charger to battery after reading post, and it initially did not charge. used truck to jump start things, once the charged showed 80% charged, I removed the cable to the truck and the charger kept charging, so far so good.
the charger got to 100% charged and switched to maint. mode. 20 mins about, the 12v started going down again, checked the battery and the voltage was going down.
so far, couple attempts have resulted with the charger showing 100% charged and the battery later begins to lose its charge.
the last time though, the battery did remain at 1/2 charge before it started losing it again.
for short term, I will go to CW and get new battery, this one has a label with jul 2012 and CW tech said its out of warranty. darn.
I don't have any paperwork that shows where the converter is, and neither did the tech. hmmm since we purchased the TT at that CW.
Its a 2013 Keystone Sprinter 300KBS, if anyone knows where the converter might be, that would help, and at least I could see if I can remove the old converter and do a drop and connect, or if I need to take it into CW.
thanks for the help..
