Ours is the one with the oval window. The one the OP is talking about would be WAY more than we would have need for or space for. Having to haul the cooler, stop for ice, hoist it out of the truck and get it placed somewhere convenient was turning into just one more PITA job for us old folks. And as it turned out EVERY weekend, we ended dumping out the majority of ice we'd bought. I saw the oval window one and thought what a great gift it would be for DH....the ice man. I just told him I'd bought him a gift that would be here in a few days. When it came, he said later he thought that had to be the weirdest gift I'd ever bought. Now he doesn't know how we lived without it. Our BFF in CA was coming up to birthday time and we never spend that much for a gift for him, but DH was sure this was a winner, so we did. When he opened it up, he had that same look as DH had, but his wife was crazy excited about it. They can use it out by the pool and keep the grandkids from running in and out for ice for their drinks and she said they never run out.

When we get backed in, even before we're leveled and completely done, we set the ice machine on the countertop, add the water and by the time we've finish set up, patio mat and chairs it's time for something cold and we have enough ice to make a couple of drinks. We never run out. Our first batch takes about 20 minutes.
