Track the meter usage at noon every day for a week or ten days, Write it down. This will give you your daily usage. How does it stack up to your utility bill.
We saw a $40.00 jump, just because I plugged in a dehumidifier, who would have thought. I also had a sneak short circuit to my well casing once, but those are very rare events.
I have even gone so far as to unplug or not use an appliance for a day or two, to see if there was a difference.
