The only decent prices in pre emissions diesels are right here with the Ford 6 liter, but there's a reason for that.
There's a couple other factors holding the prices way up IMO. First is the desirability of diesels in general and the cost of new ones. Second is the good economy right now, more folks can afford fancy trucks. Third is the low inventory of used vehicles due to lower new sales during the recession. This is even greater with diesels because of the new emissions keeping people from buying them at the same times as the recession.
