Although look on the Mobile Suites Forum where when I joined in fall of 2011 at that time all you saw was F450's. Times are a changing at least for the people that really use their TV's. GM and RAM are taking over dramatically.
Not only loyal owners, but also fleet managers that's too conservative and likes to "stick with what works" despite better alternatives.
They've bought Fords for decades, so parts supply and labor training have adapted. Then factor in the discounts Ford rewards them with for being "loyal", and you end up with a fairly stable customer base that likely won't budge anytime soon.
A prime example is the 15 passenger vans. The lengthened wheelbase GM vans are safer, more powerful in every way. But yet, millions of fleet buyers choose the E350.
