Pro Pride 1400 hitch - need help

As an owner of a propride hitch I must say the downward pitch of the stinger receiver in your first picture is excessive... the load distribution bars control the pitch of the receiver. I always loosen the bars completely. In some instances my receiver dangles similar to yours even with the bars loose - I place a foot on the top of one of the bars and push down. It swings the head up neatly.

I also use a camera... the stinger needs to be accurately lined up with the receiver with minimal bumping of the sides (I'm sure you already know this)
