Problem with slide out rubber seal at the top

The TT is two years old. It's wasn't that way forever as I just had the slide adjusted in the spring because it wasn't going into trailer evenly. ( tight seal at the top on one side, 1" gap at the bottom. ). I am sure I or they would have noticed it then....
