Proper sized camper for Ram 1500 Ecodiesel
So over the last few years I've been trying to add a bit more camping into my UTV/V-Strom adventures. So far I've relied on truck tents. I know these are not very popular but they have served me well....

Agreed payload rating is very disappointing on this rig. Especially as it replaced my old F350!
GVWR on the door is 6950lb stupid light. Looks like if i had the 3.92 gears i'd gain almost 1k lb's. And very curious to see actual weight. Will report back once I find out.
I know the truck is capable but not sure if I can do it by the book.
I love FW campers just wish they weren't so spendy. Would love to dump the bed and run there flat bed version!
