Proper sized camper for Ram 1500 Ecodiesel
So over the last few years I've been trying to add a bit more camping into my UTV/V-Strom adventures. So far I've relied on truck tents. I know these are not very popular but they have served me well....

800 payload for the truck on which to place a TC... and you want to tow as well,
There have been quite a lot of topics like this recently. In one of those I replied to the poster to check out a Wildernest or a Flip-Pac. I had the former years ago and although it is no longer made there are many used for sale. Both of these are more of a shell/ topper- tent combo. Not the same features of a TC but it gets you off the ground and very spacious when set up.
I will address the 800 pound elephant (no pun)in the room that might need to be considered... (you really might need a bigger truck)
