I've already hauled my motorcycle and a few snowmobiles plus gear and coolers. And now that I know my actual payload. These easily put me overweight!
But the truck handled it great.
If I do go with a slide in it will not be a 1-ton beast. It will be close to half that and I have no doubt that it will not be a problem.
