However, I'm still not convinced that a regular hitch doesn't get these forces as well.
Most of the time the same forces are in play with the sway bars. When the trailer "wins" and sway it'll sway on the ball. But it this case it also pushes laterally on the car in the opposite direction of the sway.
The question is how do they compare, which one is stressed the most and by how much. And how much this matters.
Hensleys and Proprides have been around for quite some time now. If the forces were that bad we would be flooded by hitches failing posts here.
