Probably has an extra transmission cooler but otherwise no different for towing except the engine will rev quite a bit higher at any given road speed than does mine which is equipped with a 3.42 axle. I always tow in 3rd, depending on how heavy a trailer you end up towing you might find it possible to tow in Drive.
