Mine was always on gravel but I either used four 55-gallon drums or two stacks of pallets under it for a larger base on the gravel.

I thought about 55 gallon drums. The advantage there is that it'll keep the kids from being under it when it is not in use. The sawhorses seemed like a nice and compact way to do it. And there were some under it when I picked it up.
Most of the 55 gallon drums around here are thin walled. Not like the good ol 55 gallon drums from yesteryear. Pallets are an idea, but I have a hard enough time trying to keep wasp nests under control. And they could act as a bridge for stuff to climb into the trailer.
Lots of new considerations. Someday, when we build a larger shop it'll all be a non issue.
