Speaking as a happy Fun Finder owner (this is our second one), it is true that FFs are not perfect. I am not sure if their quality control is any better or worse than any other brand. I guess I view a trailer as sort of a kit -- "some assembly required." The OP's shower situation was terrible -- they should have caught that at the factory.
The table is a different kind of problem -- that is a design problem, not poor assembly. The dinettes are made of MDF, which is basically dense cardboard. I threw mine out and made my own out of half inch baltic birch plywood -- much lighter and stronger.
