A Mammoth/Cascade style bathroom aside, I agree that dry baths are small. Not only is the shower part small, the toilet area is, too. Just a different compromise than a wet bath, but a compromise neverthess. Again, Mammoth/Cascade aside, a TC isn’t comfortable compared to many other much larger RVs.
That being said, we are trading off comfort and space for the ability to easily stop where we want as well as park in friends/relatives driveways. I still have my bedroom and personal space for my dogs. On our last trip (2 weeks), we took our showers in the houses, so the size of our shower or having a separate shower didn’t matter. The weekend trips are probably no more than a shower or two each trip, but I don’t consider my rig a full time one.
Even 9 1/2 vs 11 1/2 is a tradeoff. We chose a 9 1/2 to lose the length, and rather have the aditional slide and floor width compared to having 2 extra feet of length.
