We bought a used 8801 and had it out west many times and also thru NE. We don't stay more than 2-3 days in a campground and for the price and our needs it a good camper. If you plan on doing a lot of road travel put the money into a good truck. Truck camper warehouse (NH) is a good idea since we bought ours local and the dealer had no idea about the tiedowns and put the wrong ones on. Safe Travels
