Thank you both. I always appreciate comments from those who did this for a living. I’m just an amateur sawdust maker, who’s time is worth absolutely nothing now that I’m retired.
You can’t see it in the final image, but there is a drip rail over the door sitting on top of the dark green trim board. I just duplicated the type of window stool that’s under all the exterior windows on the house.
And yes, the boss and I are very blessed. She’s working from home, and I stay busy almost every day doing the things I truly enjoy.
Since I’ve only been retired two years now, people are still asking me “So, how’s retirement?” I always answer “I’ve never worked so hard!”
