Question Crossroads ZT271BH vs Jayco 267BHS

Finally narrowed down our search.

Really like both of these. The floorplan of the Crossroads is much more roomier and the bathroom is huge. Jayco has the benefit of the 2 year warranty and the price is about a grand less.. But the Crossroads is just an overall larger, nicer unit. Feels more like home.

Would love some input on whatever you know about either.. Whether mfgr as a whole, or these specific models.

  • I have a 271bh, it is a Z1. Similar to the Zinger but lower height etc. I like it fine, no issues at all. Pulls great, lots of features and a decent size batnroom. One of our deciding factors was the narrow bunks with a privacy wall. Hung a curtain across and there is room for changing without having to use the bathroom.
The 271 was discontinued this year in favour of large bunks with no privacy wall. This seems to be a common floor plan for many brands.
I have no experiences with Jayco, but had an older unit years ago and was very pleased with it.
    Good luck!
  • I like the zinger (ZT28bh, I did not see a 271bh) for the door to the bath, storage is better and light. I like the u-shaped dinette of the heartland, but it is a lot heavier then the other 2. IMO, zinger
  • Oo.. Maybe add the Heartland Trail Runner 27FQBS to the list. Will go look at some tomorrow.
