I ever said I want to haul a
heavy camper. (I realize that is subjective) And I never said I don't want to spend the money to properly equip my truck either. I'm trying to figure out the best way to beef up my truck to be able to safely haul a camper in the sub 3000 lb. range. Affordably of course. I realize my biggest expense is going to be new rims and tires, and I'm prepared to pay out the nose to do that.
