We also truck scale weigh over 12,000 lbs with the Lance 11'4" very heavy camper on the truck and it's been driven well over 70,000 miles with the Lance on. Mountains, Canada, Alaska, etc and often pull our 2150 lb boat behind or our 3500 lb enclosed trailer behind and never had any problems or repairs and it rides and handles excellent. Rest of the miles on the truck are with one of our Carriage 5th wheels or with the TT we sold recently.
The shipping weight on the Lance Corp paperwork for the 11'4" optioned out camper was 3872 lbs when it was shipped dry from Californis to Michigan and I have the actual document and saved it!
