For springs, I did this , because I wanted adjust-ability. A spring shop can add similar (without adjustable) for a lot less work, and maybe no more cost. My 2006 can be (and is) set to ride at stock height when carrying a total of just under 3000 lbs, with no noticeable sway or porpoise.
I strongly prefer steel to air, especially if any off-road travel is planned.
All kinds of advice is available -- up to you what you believe.
We went with 16 x 7 oe Steelies and 285 nitto tires and super springs have a bigwig sitting in my shop to install on the rear next week
Very pleased with this setup
Did not want to go the 19.5 route for various reasons
Would go dually instead
