Ram 1500 with 3.0 diesel

Can anyone share a picture of the door sticker for their Ram ED? Interesting idea, but as I'm overloaded on my Hemi 1500, I think I'd be way over on an ED.

For months, diesel was cheaper than regular gas here in west Mich, now since July 4, diesel is priced back up with premium gas :(

While I like the ED and think its a great powertrain, other than MPG the EB will pull as strong up every hill its not stronger than your ED - the numbers are out there to prove this.

I hate when people have to post nonsense like that to try an put down other drivetrains instead of posting honest and good facts about how theirs performs.

The best I have from Green Diesel Engineering is what they said on the forum where they give input an advice. That post can be found here. If you ever dealt with these people, they are open, honest, and great customer service. So, take it for what it is worth. My visit to their shop was amazing with their wealth of knowledge.

I would spell out the whole word Eco-Diesel, instead of using the abbreviation. We all know what ED means...

Check the forums & FB. There are guys out there towing 30-35' travel trailers. And claim they have no issues.

Now I would never go that big.

Suspension and tires seem to be its only down fall. Tires are super light 2-ply and really should be replaced with a properly rated tire for towing anything. I've towed our 25' travel trailer from western WI to Spokane, WA. Ran I94 on the way out then up through Glacier and I90 on the way back. There was only one pass that the truck struggled with. The rest with the cruise set at 65-70 I passed near everything on the hills at 2K rpm's in 7th gear. Especially those ECO BOOST'S! They'd pass me on the flats and i'd pass them on the hills. Eventually they took there proper place behind the ED!

What kind of MPG you getting while towing?

Might as well add MPG while I'm at it.
