Every ones DD ride enjoyment is different. What is just fine for me is lousy for someone else. My old '04.5 is a far cry from a new truck. Three years ago we drove it to Montana solo in Dec. for Christmas. We drove mostly interstates as we needed to make it in 4 days. The ride was very enjoyable. We stayed warm despite the zero temps, high cross winds on US-385 in Colorado and snow in Montana we encountered. The fuel mileage was 17+ for the round trip at 70+ mph on interstates and around town. Locally my mpg is 19-20 with a mix of country roads and highway driving(2 lane).
