Heresy, but what if I drop back down to a SRW? I would have to get a lite or smaller TC, but all the other driving I do (off road, snow) would be so much easier and simpler. It sounds like a full ton diesel SRW can still handle a nice TT or 5th wheel though obviously not as big. Those are in the future, anyway. The question is whether I can find a 4 season TC under the payload of a SRW. Payload per RAM of a full ton Cummins 4x4 with AISIN is 4380 and tow capacity of 17,210.
But with SRW I could take a TC in the snow with no problem, off road no problem... just would have to get a lighter TC. Are any Light TC under 4000 wet and also decent in cold weather? Or is that just impossible?
