I have a 2015 ram 3500 with rear air leveling and tow a heavy fifth wheel it works great. Recently I was considering a truck camper for my truck. What concerned me was the absence of aftermarket suspension enhancement for that truck. There are none.
If you have an air leveling ram be sure to not be overloaded with your camper there is nothing that can help you. With a leaf spring suspension you just start adding parts to make it work for you.
And as far as payload on a truck the label in the drivers door gives max payload and each truck is different because of options.
