Nah. The owners manual actually suggests full throttle for brief periods during break in to help seat the rings. I'll see if I can find the passage in the manual and do a copy/paste. As far as the gears go, I don't think 10 - 15 miles of towing is going to hurt anything.
"While cruising, brief full-throttle acceleration within the
limits of local traffic laws contributes to a good break-in."
Typically the owners manual specs at least 500 miles to break in the diff gears before towing, let us know if not the case here.
