Ram break-in period before towing?
With my 2006 the manual said not to tow before 500 miles to let the gears set it. I downloaded the 2015 manual but can't find anything on this. I know the Cummins doesn't have a break-in period. Anyon...

When we bought our 14 Ram, I hooked up the 5ver and went on a 300 mile one way trip and back. It had just under 300 miles on it. But, it had a 16' enclosed trailer, with a 6,000 pound load in it, hooked to it at 60 miles for most of the first 300. The machines are made to work, if you don't work them, they get cranky and start having issues. Like said above, load it, get in,and drive it!
