ram dashboard protectant

I used to treat my dash in previous vehicles, but found it ruined the anti glare coating, making the dash highly visible in the windshield pretty much all the time.

now I just use a wet cloth to clean up the dust now and them and that's it.

I like the rubber floormats in my Outdoorsman, kinda wishing I went with the carpet delete and rubber flooring instead.

303 does a nice job but, it will reflect on the windshield. If you plan on keeping your Ram a long time, use 303 and a cover for the dash.
Otherwise, like GordonThree said, a wet cloth will do the job.

There is no "need" for any "protectants" on any dash, no need for greasy kids stuff or the forums favorite "swiss army knife do all" 303..

A simple swipe of a damp rag cleans off any dust and dirt that has accumulated and does no harm.

There is no need for "dash covers" either unless you want to fancify the look of your cab..

Modern day plastic dashes simply do not crack, peel or fade like yester years did back in the 50s-70's.. Modern day plastics used on dashes are really stable in color and strength..

I have a 2003 F250 and the dash looks as good as they first day I drove it from the dealer. Often sitting outside with the dash facing either the eastern or the western sky getting a boat load of sun.

Whatever you've done in the past for your vehicles applies now. Nothing special about the new truck other than its new.........
In the event you've never detailed your/a car, pretty much anything will work from wiping with a wet rag to using a protectant spray. Purely personal preference.
And about the only topic more senselessly debated than "what is the best oil" is "what kind of armor all should I use?"
While we are answering silly questions, yes rubber floor mats will keep dirt and mud off the carpet....

Check your owner's manual. GM specifically says NOT to use any cleaners or protectants. Nothing more than a damp cloth is needed.

In the manual (at least for my 13) RAM is still pushing their miracle cleaner MOPAR Total Clean which smells a lot like Armor All. It does work well on the upholstery, gotta use a lot though.

Last month my '09 Chev dash cracked right behind the instrument "dome".

First vehicle I ever had that I just wiped down with damp cloth and first to have crack.

Always used Armor All and will use again with next truck.

Armor All would be the last thing I would use on anything. If anything it would be 303, but all I do is wipe with a damp cloth to get the dust off , worked great on previous truck for 16 years,see no reason why not on the new one.
