RAM HD Tradesman (ST, SXT in Canada) comfy enough?

Looking to get a 4x4 truck this Spring and will probably upgrade to a new HD at the same time, perhaps even diesel. We don't need, and can't afford, anything fancy, so would like to look at a 2500...

Tradesmans come in all flavors from a true work truck to one very close to the SLT. I bought mine as 'loaded' as one can get, plus factory running boards, 5th wheel prep, spray in and a few more.
I never even looked at the SLT's until the other day with a buddy and could see very little differences, but a LOT more money.
For me, I just wanted the Cummins.... didn't really care what it was wrapped in!
