RAM HD Tradesman (ST, SXT in Canada) comfy enough?

Looking to get a 4x4 truck this Spring and will probably upgrade to a new HD at the same time, perhaps even diesel. We don't need, and can't afford, anything fancy, so would like to look at a 2500...

I just traded out of a tradesman up to a Big Horn. My tradesman was pretty basic. Power everything with vinyl floors and seats. After 65,000 miles I will miss the floors but not the seats. I would highly recommend a well optioned tradesmen. My Big Horn does seem a lot quieter with the wind and engine noise though.
