Before I got spoiled by the F150 FX2's electric seats and built-in lumbar support, a simple low-mid back pillow was all I used. Worked fine. So that's definitely an option. Or more substantial mods, like Grit Dog's.
Would prefer new as my trucks usually spend their winters in the salt-free Southern USA. Not so the local used, HD snow plow trucks. But I do keep an eye on the used market anyway. And if I lived in oil country (Alberta, Saskatchewan), used could be a really good deal.
Vinyl seats will not happen. The SXT option is quite popular up here and includes cloth seats, rugs and remote entry. We would get that. Plus, limited slip rear end, trailer tow mirrors and rear vision/sensors (as a full cap will also happen).
Don't think Canada has the Big Horn model. But I guess it's more lux than the SLT? Possibly more sound deadening material? Guess I better get out there and test drive some of these things ...
Thanks again for all the comments. A great help.
