I've got a '14 Tradesman, and with a few of the options packages, it has everything I need, for a reasonable price.
Adjustable lumbar support would be nice. But a $10 pillow is a lot cheaper than moving up to one of the higher level packages.
There's lots of stuff I'd LIKE to have on my truck. I'd love those leather seats out of the Laramie Longhorn. I'd have fun with the 8.4" center console display. I've had heated seats in previous vehicles, and would love to have them again.
But none of those things make the truck work any better. And they all run up the purchase price. Money I save on the truck is money I can use on the camper, whether it be a nicer rig, or more camping, or upgrades, or just a better steak for Saturday nights. I spend more time at those than I do in the truck, anyway.
Gotta cut corners somewhere to fit it all in the budget, and driving a Tradesman is a pretty painless cut, if you pick just the options you need.
