I try not to be a fan boy and obviously I am biased towards Fords but Ram has won nearly every 2019 truck comparison that I have seen. I think that a lot of people out there think that Ram has simply put out a better 2019 model than Chevy. I am actually surprised that Ford has held on to their market share while selling against two new competitors. I am under the impression that Ford has some major improvements coming for 2020 and it will be interesting to see those.
Meanwhile, Chevy needs to come up with more compelling reasons to buy their truck, starting with motors. Based on the language in the manual pushing premium fuel for the 6.2 when towing I won't even consider the Chevy since I tow a lot. The new turbo 2.7 Chevy comes up way short against Ford's 2.7 turbo. That leaves the 5.3 as the only engine that I would even consider. I shouldn't be saying this as I have a pretty good holding of GM stock but I have to call it as I see it.
The frustrating part to me is that each brand has at least one exclusive feature that I really like. I sure would like to get it all on one truck.
