This is exactly correct. The Raptor is designed for serious off road use and does a fine job doing what it was designed to do. The Rebel is more of an appearance package, and it happens to have the air suspension and skid plates. The Rebel was never designed to be equal to the Raptor. I did not watch the video so I cannot comment on it, but this is comparing apples to oranges. Ram does not offer a Raptor equivalent truck.
To me the Rebel is a more capable 4x4 compared to the standard Ram 4x4 that basically looks to have the same ~ ground clearance as a 2wd truck.
