I would agree, since standard Ram 4X4 trucks seem to not be much taller than their 2WD counterparts.

As stated earlier, the Rebel is primarily an appearance package. It is available in 2WD and 4WD, and you can even get the V6 in the 4WD model (but not in 2WD for some reason). Either way, the Rebel is designed to compete against the Chevy Z71 package and Ford FX4 package. Ram does not build a Raptor competitor and does not claim to build a Raptor competitor. The Ford Raptor is basically in a class of its own.
