This is exactly correct. The Raptor is designed for serious off road use and does a fine job doing what it was designed to do. The Rebel is more of an appearance package, and it happens to have the air suspension and skid plates. The Rebel was never designed to be equal to the Raptor. I did not watch the video so I cannot comment on it, but this is comparing apples to oranges. Ram does not offer a Raptor equivalent truck. - Bird_FreakExplorer IIDon't think I want either for a tow truck.

I would agree with you there,something with a better payload and much better Off Road - TurnThePageExplorerI've never been to Texas and can't comment to it except that I don't envision a place that would typically require what the Power Wagon brings. On the other hand I've seen quite a few of them around here. More Power Wagons than Raptors for sure. I have yet to see a Ram Rebel in the wild.

Power wagons aren't exactly cheap, either to buy or operate. Nor is a Raptor for that matter. The Rebel is more of an appearance thing, IMO. IdaD wrote:

I don't "off-road" for the sake of it, but I camp, hunt and fish a lot in places you need a high ground clearance 4wd vehicle to access. My truck with a decent set of AT/MT tires will get you into a lot more places than you'd think. - Perrysburg_DodgExplorer
