OPer here. I heard the truck drive up. (Was at the fish cleaning station) That diesel sound is what got my attention. I didn't get a chance to talk to owner but did talk to his buddy. He said owner was a diesel mechanic and did the conversion himself. Also said the original motor was a 6.2L. That's about all I know.
