Good Lord 175/330. When hooked up pulling that thing had to be going so slow it felt like you were going backwards. Those numbers make my buddies '77 F-150 460 look like a race truck. It's amazing what modern Diesels are doing compared to just 20 years ago.
If THAT is LOW, try the initial 6.2 diesel specs, 110-125 and not even low to mid 200 lb ft of torque. The IDI 7.3 in my navistar mdt is a 175 336! It had a low of 125, a 150 option also! Look at gas motors from 1980, a bb 454 did not even have 200 hp and barely 300 lb ft of torque. TOdays motors, both gas and diesel are power houses compared to the early 90's and before. One has SB V6's producing more hp/torque than a BB of the past. And folks say these new motors have no power.......hmph!
