You guys get it. My point is the 1/2 ton trucks have gotten stronger and yet rated lower, in general.
But I would argue for the brakes on the old one, just a bit.
Of course a new HD has better braking, but those big ole drums in back do Work!
Mine still has the load sensing valve, disconnected. But when I turn it to full flow, that old ass truck stops FAST!
