Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. He must of been doing over 80mph to get a 75mph average. And people wonder why RV tires blow out.
For the first 4 yrs or so, I used to tow my trailers 80 mph,...maxed out or not, going across Arizona and New Mexico, and 75 in Texas, when they had the day/night speed limits. It didn't matter to me whether they were loaded or not either. I never had any problems with tires. During that time i was running factory tires on my trailers until i needed new ones. It took me one trip to the dunes at 70, to realize how much fuel i was saving. Every since, I don't drive over 70,...and mostly hang around 65.
