2007 Arctic Fox 990 Slide Out Problem
My slide out would not retract this week (luckily in my driveway instead of camping) and upon investigation, I found the slide out motor had broken off the gear case and was laying loose on the floor....

Was able to obtain the required slide out motor from PDX RV in Oregon. Great service and fast shipping from them. The price for the motor was $641 shipped. That seems a bit steep but that is the going rate. Installation was simple and straight forward and anyone with basic mechanical skills will have no trouble with an installation. Just amounted to removing and replacing four bolts holding the old motor in place, removing and reinstalling a pin connection to the rotating shaft that drives the slide out mechanism and attaching one red and one black wire.
