I used to work for our school district in the bus garage. We had numerous problems with the newer diesels and particulate emissions were an issue so we switched to propane. Except for the need to fill up more often the propane busses were a huge improvement. BTW We were still using a few 30 year old International gas busses when I was there, that is until the steering box on one of them went out on a steep winding road. They were all pulled from service that day!
