I have a 2002 Mallard probably the same or very similar to yours. My hot
water tank is under the stove and is acessed from under the sink. It didnot
have the bypass valves installed, had to install the bypass valves myself.
It was quite a project, with a lot of one handed operations as there is little
room to operate in,but is well worth the effort. I purchased the bypass kit from a RV repair shop.
