We used our 2003 Jeep Liberty to tow our highwall pop-up for a few years. The pop-up weighed around 3,000 lbs. loaded and the Jeep would pull it but it was light in the front. My wife did not like to drive when we went camping. You are going to try to pull more weight and you will also have drag and side wind effects to deal with using the Jeep. I would not recommend this setup.
