Re-seal Bigfoot roof

2008 Bigfoot 9.4. I just bought it. The sealant around the roof penetrations...vents, roof rack, etc. has some cracks. The existing sealant looks like typical Dicor RV sealant. The previous owner gave me a tube of NovaFlex silicone sealant. That is what his dealer recommended. I'm thinking that might work if I removed the windows and had to reseal, but just to touch up the roof sealant I'm thinking a Dicor type. The Bigfoot roof is fiberglass, not TPO or EPDM.
Y'alls thoughts...?

    This is what I do on my Northern Lite. Built pretty much the same as the Bigfoots.


    I mask the edges with the blue tape and do the same thing except I use a soft caulking called SONOLAST because it is very good caulking. Stays like rubber and holds good for years. I use a stiff brush and spread till smooth going both directions for better adhesion.

    I don't like the Eternabond tape idea because I think it would leave air gaps underneath going across small gaps or compound bends.

    ^^^I think this is the best long term solution.
    But...I just ordered 3 tubes of Dicor self leveling from Amazon. I'll do this and then next spring look at the 3M.

    We use and my father uses an elastic roof sealant paint. He has used it on his 97 Snowbird since the first crack in about 01. He paints the seals each or every other year as needed. If interested, I can get the exact name and more information when I'm home and can reach the can on the shelf.

    On mine, I removed the vent, cleaned all the horrible cheap RV sealant off, and resealed it with proper marine sealant (3M 4000 UV). The Bigfoot is built like a boat (kind of...) and you might as well seal it like a boat - it will last for a decade or two. The alternative is to pour Dicor over it each year for the rest of your life.

    This job took me an hour or so last summer on our truck camper





    I do similar with selfleveling sealer, except, I use roof cleaner / then ck all seams for unusual or over large cracks in the old sealer then do more if necessary also it is very for us check as the deck on the rear of our house is the same height as the camper roof

    The Dicor flexible lap sealant can be maintained by applying fresh sealant to the cracked areas. Look at you toob for videos showing how to clean and prep.

    I would use the same brand and spec sealant that has worked from 2008 till now...

    Wall opening sealant is a different product that is much stiffer.

    This job took me an hour or so last summer on our truck camper
