On a good flat road if I keep it at 65 or under it gets 23 to 24, that's only 2 mpg less then my Chevy Colorado. This is going by the mpg readout I haven't checked by hand. In town its only about 15 to 16 if I'm lucky. Since this is my main vehicle I wanted the v6 for fuel economy even if it is only 1 or 2 better than the v8. Also on paper the v8 is only about $800 dollars more but in reality they are going for several thousand more because of the demand. Frankly I'm impressed by how much power my truck does have.
