I'd just keep what you have. I suspect the money you lost on the GM and the interest on the loans is more money than I've spend to buy a truck in years past.
My current '05 Chevy dually was purchased new and now has 222,000 trouble free miles on it. I don't plan to get rid of it for many years. It should easily reach 300,000, hopefully more. I haven't had a vehicle payment of any kind in over 6 years. That includes owning a fleet of Chevy work trucks and the personal vehicles.
